World Record For Linda!
It's been confirmed by the CS&PF that Linda Ashmore claimed the record for the oldest female solo English Channel crossing on Saturday.
Linda was 60 years, 10 months and 4 days - the previous holder Sue Oldham was 60 years and 9 months when she crossed last year.

Linda A Channel Swimmer
Linda finished her swim in 15 hours and 11 minutes - now motoring back to Dover.

At 10:47AM she was at Lat 51 01.92' and Long 01 26.19' - not quite half way.

Linda started her attempt at 5:44 this morning and is now in the first shipping lane.
Sea conditions are good with little swell and the sun is shining.

ILDSA Lough Erne Results
Weyport Masters' Nick Ireland competed in this event.
Simon Lee won again, about 5 minutes outside his course record.
Nick improved his time by 5 minutes (and 1 second!) from last year.

Training Tonight
Note that training at Weymouth Pool is on as normal tonight.
Normally there wouldn't be any on Carnival Day but the new regime has decided to keep the building open.
